February 28th - March 4th (Week 4)



Well I think this week you´ll be very busy because you´ll have the Unit 1 test. You must study!!!

Monday 28th

This week we´ll start with the Unit 1 review. The review is a mind map made by the students. It needs to have pictures, drawings, color, etc... It must represent all the information of this unit.

They will make questions if neccesary...


Tuesday 1st

Today is going to be a big day. You have the Unit 1 test. You have to study for it. It´s going to be very easy but I´m really sure that you will prepare the material for this test.

Wednesday 2nd

Students will start Unit 2 working hard in the lab so that´s the reason they have to answer Unit 4 exercises. They will use the dictionary and check the grammar, too.


Thursday 3rd

We´ll start Unit 2 "Relationships"...

The unit goals are:

- Introduce people

- Tell someone your first and last name

- Get someone´s address and phone number

The teacher will explain the vocabulary used in this unit and students have to write a short description about other students. They will play role as doctor, teacher, student, architect, etc., and the teacher will record a video with their presentations.



Friday 4th

Students will go to the L-15 to use the computers to publish their videos and add more gadgets in their blogs. We are going to have a coversation of the activities done during the week, questions and comments.... :)


HW: the students will make changes in their blogs and add one more gadget.

February 21 - 25 (Week 3)



Monday 21st

1. The teacher will play the CD and the students will
listen to the conversation.
2. The students will practice conversation of page 7.
3. The teacher will explain the alphabet.
4. The students will listen to and answer exercises B and D.



Tuesday 22nd


1. The students will answer exercise E on page 8.
2. Checking the correct answers.
3. The teacher will explain the grammar (page 9).
4. What about you? Exercise G.
5. Pronunciation (H).

HW: Answer Lesson 2 of the workbook.


Wednesday 23rd

1. The students will work in the lab

Thursday 24
1. The teacher will play the CD to listen to the conversartion.
2. Practice in pairs.
3. Page 10, Listening Comprehension (A and B).
4. What about you? Complete the form....
Friday 25
1. Page 10, exercise D
2. Exercise E (page 10).
3. Unit Wrap-up
HW: Finish the workbook and study for the test next Monday

February 14 - 18 (Week 2)

Monday 14th "Happy Valentine´s Day"

1. The students are going to talk about What they do
2. Vocabulary: Occupations
3. Listening Comprehension, exercise B
4. VOCABULARY BOOSTER, V1

Hw: Make a pictionary of these words (vocabulary)


Tuesday 15th

1. The teacher will explain the Grammar (C page 4)
2. The students will answer exercise D and E
3. The students will do a dynamic to talk about different occupations, based on the conversation
on page 5


Wednesday 16th

1. The students will have a dictation exercise
2. The students will check the correct answers
3. The students will have a dynamic asking and answering what do you do? taking different roles (doctor, nurse, teacher, student, etc)


Thursday 17th

1. The teacher will play the audio to listen the vocabulary on page 6
2. The teacher will explain the grammar (Singular and plural nouns/ be: plural statements
3. The students will answer exercise C and D on page 6



Friday 18th

1. The teacher will explain the grammar: be yes/no questions and short answers
2. The students will answer exercise E on page 7
3. The students will answer exercise F and together check the correct answers

February 8 - 11 (Week 1)


Week: February 8-11, 2011


Tuesday 8th

1. The teacher will say her name and some personal information and the students, too.
2. The teacher will explain the way to work this semester (Program, Rules, etc.)


Wednesday 9th

1. The students are going to fill an exercise with their favorite food, music, movie, book, etc. (their likes)
2. The students will work with a partner sharing their own information


Thursday 10th

1. The will explain the way to open a blog
2. The students will open their blogs


Friday 11th

1. The students are going to present a diagnostic test
